Alfred Bouchard

Alfred Leo Bouchard passed away at home on December 9, 2020 after a prolonged illness.

Alfred was born on March 11, 1947, the third of thirteen children born to Andrew and Lucy (Le May) Bouchard.  Alfred grew up in Stillwater, NY and lived primarily in Ballston Spa, NY after High School.  He lived his final year in Waynesville NC.

Alfred, who was a Christian, most recently attended Hope Church, Ballston Spa, NY.  Alfred enjoyed spending time with his wife doing activities such as taking walks, day trips and vacations in Atlantic City.  Alfred also enjoyed reading and fishing. Alfred had a positive effect on people he met. He was generous with his time and talents. Alfred loved to help other people and will be missed by many.

Devoted husband of 51 years, Evah (Fitch) Bouchard, and father of Angelique (John) Kaiser, Renee (Michael) Bouchard-Kaiser, Donyel Bouchard and the late Nicole (William) Parkhurst.  Alfred had 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by 4 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, it was Alfred’s wish for people to make donations to Haywood Hospice 43 Bowman Drive, Waynesville, NC 28785 or Ronald McDonald House 139 S. Lake Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

The care of Mr. Bouchard has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
