John Rickman

Canton- John Lynn Rickman, 53, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

John was born on Friday, July 22, 1966 to the late Robert Gordon and Donna Kay Carroll Rickman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Pastor Marlon Elvin and Marjorie Borden.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marla Borden Rickman; two sons, Anthony Rickman and his wife, Savanna, of Waynesville, and Andrew Rickman and his wife, Kelsey, of Cocoa Beach, Florida.; a sister, Ginger Romero, of Spokane, Washington; two nephews, Thomas John Romero and Brad Mease; a niece, Stephanie Bell; two great-nephews, Lukas and Liam Lafalce; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Mease, and her husband, Terry.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Clyde Free Will Baptist Church with the Reverend Jody Shuford officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clyde Free Will Baptist Church Youth Program, 2221 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC, 28721.
