Ada Nicholson

Candler - Ada Capps Nicholson, age 96, of Old Starnes Cove Road passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Madison County and a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late James D. and Lily Hensley Capps. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nicholson, who died in 1943 and a grandson, Leon Nicholson who died in 1990. She is survived by three daughters, Frankie Lee Nicholson, June Lowe and Lillian Young all of Candler; a son, Daniel Nicholson of Arden; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a half-brother, Paul Capps of Leicester. Funeral services will be private.
