Addie Conard

Addie Pressley Conard, age 85, died on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Maudie Franklin Pressley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Conard, who died in 1981; a daughter, Revonda Inman; a grandson, Steven Deweese; and a great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Putnam. Addie was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Gary Conard and his wife, Harriet, of Canton and Ronnie Conard and his wife, Carolyn, of Rutledge, TN; a daughter, Patricia Deweese of Canton; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Meadow Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Edwards and Reverend Brandon Mendez officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be at the resident of her grandson, Brandon Mendez, 25 Sandalwood Lane, Canton.
