Alice Leatherwood

Waynesville-Alice B. Dockery Leatherwood, 48, of Sawyer Street, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie Leatherwood. She was of the Methodist Faith. She loved to play with her grandchildren, read, crochet and collect ceramic angels. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ed Leatherwood; three daughters, Jenny Marie Adams and husband, Jay of Hendersonville; Melinda Dawn and Shannon Lea Leatherwood both of Waynesville; four sisters; Grace Rich of Oregon; Lorena Stepp of Oregon; Daisy Miller and her husband, William of Maggie Valley and Zettie Alison of Waynesville; one brother Willard Dockery of Fayetteville, N.C. and five grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Clyde Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Randall A. Tingle officiating.
