Alice Padgett

Waynesville, Alice Patricia "Patty" Padgett, 74, passed away at Mission Campus on Saturday, September 26, 2015. A native of San Diego, California, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lois Penacho and was also preceded in death by one sister. Patty enjoyed flowers and shopping and loved to travel and also loved to do special things for family and friends. Patty is survived by her husband of 59 years, Reverend Clarence "Bo" Padgett; a daughter, Pamela Denise Padgett Floyd and husband, David, of Rock Hill, South Carolina; a son, Glen Dixon Padgett and wife, Stephanie, of Concord, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Edward Drew Snyder, Lindsay Beatrice Padgett, Eryn Rae Padgett and Cameron Leigh Floyd; and her special friend, Betty Perry. A memorial service will be held at Clyde Central United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 with Reverend Daniel Gaddy officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Clyde Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Clyde, NC 28721 or to a charity of one's choice.
