Aline Hampton

Waynesville, Aline Lillian Gaddy Hampton, 66, of Bonnies Lane, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Boyd William and Vina Lee Palmer Gaddy and was also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Hampton, who died in 2008.

Aline is survived by a daughter, Janice Hampton of Waynesville; two sons, Randy M. Hampton and his wife, Rachel, of Missouri and DeWayne S. Hampton of Waynesville; a sister, Jane B. Hoglen and husband, Donnie, of Waynesville; a brother, William Gaddy, Jr. and his wife, Kay, of Sanford, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Nelson and Allen Rash officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
