Allen Bean

Waynesville-Allen Everett Bean, age 67, of 120 Hyatt Street, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 31, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, he was the son of the late Ralph James Bean and Agnes Everett Bean. He was an electrical superintendent having retired in 2004. Allen enjoyed traveling with his wife and going fishing. He was also a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Barbara Bean; three sons, Christopher Bean, Dirk Bean, and Eric Bean; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. Private graveside services will be held.
