Allen Ross Davis, 41, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Mission Hospital in Buncombe County. He was born on May 1, 1982, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Allen found his passion and fulfillment in helping those less fortunate. He had a God given talent and willingness to give you the shirt off his back, and did so time and time again.
Allen had a deep love for nature and spent much of his free time outdoors. Whether it was hiking through scenic trails or enjoying peaceful moments at the river. Allen found solace in the beauty of the natural world.
However, above all else, Allen cherished his family. His unwavering love and devotion towards his children and relatives were unparalleled. His Mother was his best friend. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending quality time with family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor, warm heart, and generous spirit which extended to both loved ones and strangers alike. Allen would go above and beyond to help others in need without expecting anything in return.
Allen is preceded in death by his father, Randy Lamar Davis and his brother, Lee Adam Davis. Their legacy will forever be kept alive through cherished memories and stories shared among family members.
Despite the immense sorrow brought upon by his passing, Allen leaves behind a loving network of family members who will continue to honor him through their lives. He is survived by his mother Michelle Monsour Davis of Canton; two daughters: D'Asia Nicole White of Smyrna, S.C., and Greer Callie Black of Clover, S.C.; three sisters: Lamara Davis of Candler, Marea Davis French of Florida, and Dr. Rachel Davis (AJ Tobey) of Canton; as well as one brother Solomon Ki Davis of Canton.
He was a fun uncle and leaves behind three nieces: Kathryn French, Zahra Tobey, and Aurora Tobey, who thought he hung the moon. He leaves behind four aunts and many cousins who loved him immensely.
Allen Ross Davis will be remembered as a beacon of kindness, love, and generosity. His positive impact on the lives of those he encountered will continue to inspire for generations to come. Allen's spirit will forever reside in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be in the arms of Jesus. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
