Clyde-Anabelia Leon "Ana" Macias, age 19, of Crabtree Road, died on Sunday, November 5, 2006. A native of Gainsville, GA, she resided in Western North Carolina since she was one year old and attended Central Haywood High School. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Leigh Smith Macias and her friend, Silverio Yanez, of Waynesville and her father, Jesus Leon Macias and his wife, Garciela Leon Garcia, of Clyde. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by a sister, Luisa Macias and her husband, Luis Avalos, of Weaverville; one brother, Jesse Leon Macias and his girlfriend, Pattie Reed and her son, Justin Reed, of Asheville; one stepsister, Paola Lizette Sandoval, of Clyde; one stepbrother, Luis Sandoval, of Clyde; Maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Seferino Garcia, of Waynesville; paternal grandparents, Jesus Leon Mata and Maria Luisa Macias de Leon, of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; Godparents, Sandra Diane Macias and Jose Macias, Jr.; and two nieces, Sarah Elizabeth Leon and Anna Mariah Avalos; and her boyfriend, David Forney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2006 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Father Morris Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Macias, Luis Leon, Ramon Leon Macias, Jesus Leon Macias, Alfrel Garcia, Hector Onate, Luis Avalos, and Jesus Salvador.
