Andy Caldwell, born on September 29, 1972, in Haywood County, passed away unexpectedly at home in Maggie Valley on January 16, 2025. He lived a life rich with passion, dedication, and love for the simple pleasures of this world.
Andy was deeply tied to his roots, finding joy in activities that connected him with nature and the people he cherished. Farming was not just a hobby for Andy; it was a way of life that allowed him to nurture the land and share the fruits of his labor with others. His love for hunting also highlighted his appreciation for the great outdoors. Being with friends brought him immense happiness, and he forged many lasting memories through the bonds he cherished.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Hannah Caldwell, sister, Penny Caldwell (Rodney) and his girlfriend Denise Conard. Also, aunt and uncle Donald and Barbara Hannah as well as many other close friends(Donald James) and cousins. The memories they shared with him will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Andy was predeceased by his father, Manzie Caldwell. His spirit will undoubtedly live on through the lives he touched, reminding all to enjoy life’s simple gifts. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and a commitment to living life fully, surrounded by nature and the love of family. Andy's departure is a profound loss, but his memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the spring.
