Angela Porter

Canton- Angela Maria Porter, 57, passed away on December 21, 2022. She was a member of the Cruso Community in Canton and the daughter of Larry McCall and Dinah Louise Wilson Green. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Murray. Angela attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated employee of The Messino Cancer Center since 2006.

Angela is survived by her parents, Dinah and Ray Green of Canton; father, Larry McCall of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Amy Peterman (Aaron) of Waynesville; sister, Julie Grasty (Mike) of Waynesville; brothers, Larry McCall (Raquel) of Beaverdam and James Green of Canton; half-sister, Staci Hoeper of Kansas City; and five grandchildren, Destinee, Leianna, Zachary, Matthew, and Jacob

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

The care of Mrs. Porter has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton.
