Ann Hill

Waynesville, Ann Kuykendall Hill, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Kuykendall and Bonnie Messer Plemmons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Dow Hill, who died October 24, 2005, two sisters and one brother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville. Ann had a very generous, giving and loving spirit that touched many neighbors, friends, and family. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Scott, and husband, Bob, of Mt. Sterling, NC and Sandy Caldwell of Waynesville; one son, Keith Hill and his girlfriend, Lucy Lowe, of Mt. Sterling; one granddaughter, Kelly Scott of Hudson, NC; one sister, Lois Nations; one brother, Robert Messer; several nieces and nephews; and many close and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2008 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Carlene Finger officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday prior to services.
