anton – Ann Reeves Jackson died Friday, July 25, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC, after a brief illness. Ann was born May 12, 1926, in Haywood County and was the daughter of the late McNally and Stella Westmoreland Reeves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Jackson, who died in 1980; brother, Carl Reeves; sister, Ruby Van Hook; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Smathers and Wilda Leatherwood. Ann was a real estate broker in Haywood County for 40 years and was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Hendricks and her husband, Jerry, of Mocksville, and JoAnn Robertson and her husband, Don, of Greer, SC; three sisters, Reva Sayles of Fairview, Hazel Edmunds of Candler, and Margie Ferriss and her husband, Bill, of Hendersonville; two brothers, McNally Reeves of Greenville, SC, and Jack Reeves of Canton; sister-in-law, Doris Turner and her husband, Bill, of Clyde; four grandchildren, Jackson Hendricks and his wife, Katie, of Mocksville, Holly Hendricks of Asheville, Andy Robertson of Greer and Janna Robertson of Greer; and one great-grandson, Robert Jackson Hendricks II of Mocksville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road with the Reverend Carrol Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Haywood County, 112 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC 28786 or a charity of one's choice.
