Anna Cordell

Anna Kathleen Cordell, 90, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia Scarborough Williams. She had been a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Charles William Cordell and Richard Dwayne Cordell and several siblings.
She is survived by her children, JoAnna Brown, Betty Jo Cordell and John Alan Cordell; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and brother, James Eugene Williams.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, September 8th in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends for 1-hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
