Anna Harvey

Canton – Anna Ogle Harvey, age 82, of Spruce Street passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 12, 2015. A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Hilliard and Elsie Roland Ogle. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Carroll Sawyer, who died in 1982 and her second husband, Marion Albert Harvey, who died in 2013. She was formerly employed with the V.A. Credit Union and was a member of First Baptist Church of Canton. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Earley and her husband, Kenneth, of Canton; a sister, Elna Chapman of Swannanoa; a brother, Brook Ogle of East Asheville; a grandson, Erick Sane and his wife, Jamie; and two great-grandchildren, Julianna and Jonathan Harvey Sane. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Canton with the Reverend James A. Meadows officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of arrangements.
