Anna Marie Gaddy, a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her residence on August 17, 2023. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 30, 1938.
Ann spent the majority of her career as an executive secretary for a reputable law firm. Her dedication to her work was unmatched, and she was highly respected by both colleagues and clients. Ann's attention to detail and organizational skills played a significant role in the success of the firm she served. She was a member of Canton Wesleyan Church.
Outside of her professional life, Anna Marie Gaddy found great joy in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She shared a beautiful journey with Keith Gaddy for 25 years. Their love for each other was truly remarkable.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of love through her five children: three daughters and two sons. Colleen Fleming of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Molly Gaddy of Reno, Nevada, Rebekah Gaddy of Canton, NC; Patrick Fleming of Wheatland, Wyoming; and Kane Gaddy of Las Vegas, Nevada. The profound impact she had on their lives is immeasurable.
Besides being a dedicated mother, Ann was an adoring grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren: Aloah, Brian Jr., and Brody. She cherished every moment spent with them and took great pleasure in watching them grow.
Anna Marie Gaddy will be remembered not only as an exceptional individual but also as someone who touched the lives of all those she encountered. Her warm heart and kind nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Friends and family will always cherish the memories they shared with Ann.
In honoring Ann's memory, let us celebrate the life she lived—a life filled with love, dedication to family. Although she may be physically absent, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.
