Anna Mehaffey

Maggie Valley, Anna Cline Mehaffey, age 86, of Frank Mehaffey Road, passed away on Friday, February 03, 2012. A native and life-long resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Nichols Cline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim N. Mehaffey, who died in 2009 and one sister, Janie Simmons. Anna enjoyed being with her family and was a member of First Baptist Church of Maggie Valley. She is survived by one daughter, Regina Mehaffey and her husband, Keith Calhoun, of Greensboro, North Carolina; one son, Michael Mehaffey and his wife, Vicki, of Maggie Valley; four grandchildren, Priscilla, Alivia, Benjamin, and Matalyn; and two great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
