Anne Doyle "Anndee" Savage, age 63, of Waynesville, NC, died on February 26th, 2007 at Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury, MA. She grew up in Bay Shore, New York and was the eldest daughter of the late Joseph Francis Savage, Jr. and Mary Flaherty Savage. Anndee spent her youth sailing, swimming, dancing and playing tennis. She raised her family in Cross River, NY and Pittsford, VT. Most recently, she lived with her beloved sister Ellen in Waynesville, North Carolina, where she was an active member of Grace Church in the Mountains. Her great loves were animals, music, entertaining, Vermont, and, above all, her family. Anndee is lovingly remembered by all who knew her, but especially her family: two daughters, Gretchen van Eyck of New York City and Catherine van Eyck of Nantucket, MA; four sons, Alexander D. van Eyck of San Francisco, CA, Christopher van Eyck of Boston, MA, James van Eyck of New York City, and Edmund Michael van Eyck of Winhall, VT; her sister, Ellen Savage of Waynesville, NC; and two brothers, Joseph "Jeff" Savage of Litchfield, CT, and Peter Savage of Duxbury, MA.
