Annie Creasman

February 28, 1914 — December 3, 2005

Waynesville: Annie Mae Creasman- age 91 died Saturday, December 03, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was a native and life-long resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late William Wesley and Mary Loecindy Warren Pressley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Horace Creasman, who died in 1971; one son, Roy Creasman who died in 1975 and one stepson Carlos Creasman who died in 1983. Mrs. Creasman was a member of Burnette Cove Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia "Crick" Kuykendall and her husband Roy and Rose Lee Creasman all of Canton; one son, Charles Creasman and his wife Lillian of Pisgah Forest; a long time friend, Cooter Wood and his wife Teresa of Sylva; seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Haywood County Rescue Squad-Canton, P.O. Box 1275, Canton, NC 28716.
