Annie Medlin

Annie Medlin, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Marie Everhart Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Medlin. She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Garland and her husband, Terry; one son, Ronnie Medlin and his wife, Linda; four grandchildren, Brandon Garland and his wife, Regina, Ashley Garland, Sean Medlin and his wife, Anna, and Ronna Rathbone; and three great-grandchildren, Kiana and Andrew Medlin, and Ryan Rathbone. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
