Anthony Green

Waynesville- Infant Anthony Dane Green, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 4, 2007. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Doyle Dane and Amanda Owen Green, Jr. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Lowery Edward Owen. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Lydia Frances Fie; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Bronwyn "Brownie" Green, Sr. all of Waynesville; four aunts, Dana Green, Tammie Phillips, Mary Jane Wilkes, and Susan McCall all of Waynesville; four uncles, Michael Fie, Mark Phillips, Martin Wilkes and James Knight; five great aunts, and one great uncle, Doug and Joyce Green of Dallas, NC, Bettina Martin of Union Mills, NC, Janie Green, Brenda Miller and Vicki Howell and seven cousins, Rachel and Kayla Waters, Andrew Autumn and Jessie Fie and Dustin and Khrystne Wilkes. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Charlie Creasman and Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at the residence of Bronwyn and Doyle Green, Sr., 256 Candlelight Lane off of Rabbit Skin and Liberty Church Road, Waynesville.
