Anthony Joyce

"1944 – 2016" Moncks Corner, South Carolina – Anthony "Tony" Morris Joyce, 72, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his residence. A native of McRae, Georgia, he was a son of Cessel Joyce and Delilah Belle Morris Joyce Ford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Patricia Joyce. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Moncks Corner for over 40 years. Tony enjoyed fishing, playing with computers, and his cat. He was a former construction superintendent for Ruscon. "He very successfully managed the construction of numerous schools, housing developments, and industrial complexes around the state of South Carolina." He is survived by his wife, M. "Robbie" Harkins Joyce; son, Anthony "Tony" M. Joyce, II of California, and former wife, Michele, of Florida; two brothers, Cessel Frederick Joyce of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Albert Butler of Lynchburg, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Devon Joyce, Elizabeth Miller and husband, James, Victoria and Abbegayle Joyce. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Newfound Road.
