Arley Phillips

Waynesville, Arley Phillips, age 77, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of George and Viola Romines Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Arvil Phillips. Arly was well known for his primitive living in his cabin, which he had no electricity or water only a wood stove. He is survived by one brother, Claude Phillips and his wife, Rita of Spring Creek, NC and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010 at Phillips Family Cemetery, Cosby Tennessee.
