Asavior Edward "Bubba" Kay

 With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of our beloved baby boy, Asavior Edward Kay “Bubba” who was taken from us to soon on July 5, 2024, at the tender age of 2, born on March 15, 2022.

He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and sweet disposition. Though his time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.

Bubba will be loved and missed by his mother, Crystal Mease; his father, James Edward Kay; siblings, Admire Eloise Kay and Katherine Kay; two half-brothers and a half-sister; and Maddison Cope; godparents, Matthew and Katrina Cope; grandmother, Shelly West; grandfather, Daniel Mease and his spouse Ruth Mease. He was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Doyle and Gloria Mease; and paternal grandparents, Ed and Frankie Eloise Kay; and an uncle, Marvin Cope.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. A graveside service celebrating Bubba’s precious life will be held immediately following visitation at Old Thickety Cemetery with Pastor Harry Worley officiating. Friends and family are invited to remember a life albeit short, was truly a gift to us all.
