Ashley Schroeck

Canton-Ashley P. Schroeck-13, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was a native of Queens County, New York and had lived in Haywood County for the past year. Prior to living in Haywood County, she lived in Asheville. She was a student of Waynesville Middle School.

She is survived by her parents, Lloyd and Debra Cureton of Canton, paternal grandparents, Robert and Sandra Schroeck of Nebo, one sister, Jennifer Jolly of Swannanoa and two brothers, Wilson Vargas, Jr. of Leicester and Steven Schroeck of the home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Preston Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of the parents, Debra and Lloyd Cureton.
