Aud Lillard

Waynesville-Aud Augustus Lillard, age 94, formerly of Hazelwood, passed away on November 2, 2005 in Conley, GA. He was born in Andrews, NC and was the son of the late Taylor Wilson Lillard and Josie Coleman Lillard. He was a retire construction worker and was a member of Jehovah Witness. Mr. Lillard had resided in Georgia since 1967. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Stepp, and two brothers, Emmett and James Lillard. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Gibson Lillard; one daughter, Lois L. McMillan, of Marietta, GA; and two sons, Stanley Eugene Lillard of Conley, GA and James Robert Lillard and his wife, Jean, of Diamond, OH; one brother, John Lillard of Asheville; four grandchildren, Beth McMillan Watts, and her husband, Tracy, Ryan McMillan, Robin Lillard Arocho and her husband, Mike, and Robert Lillard; and one great grandson, Christian McMillan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Louis Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
