Barbara Cillo

Clyde, Barbara Di Cillo, age 87, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Milton Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Benner Putnam. Barbara's life was spent traveling with her husband, Frank, a retired USMC Colonel, around the country and world. She enjoyed swimming, ice skating, tending to her garden, and occasionally playing a round of golf. Barbara will be remembered for her kind heart and loving disposition. Barbara was survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank Di Cillo; a daughter, Chandra Saras of Desert Springs, California; two sons, Stephen Di Cillo of Brooklyn, New York and Tom Di Cillo and his wife, Jane, of Manhattan, New York. A private remembrance will be held. Burial will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
