Waynesville, Barbara Ann Bryan Henderson, age 79, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. A native of Titusville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Needham W. and Pauline Parrish Bryan, prominent citrus growers in Florida. She was a former resident of Waynesville, NC and had resided in Tampa for the past three months. She was a real-estate agent and had worked with several agencies in Waynesville, NC. Barbara was a 1950 graduate of the University of Florida; life member of National Council of Garden Clubs; member and former state officer of Alpha Delta Pi Social Sorority; member of PEO Sisterhood; and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Cocoa/Titusville, Florida; former chairman and board member of Parks and Recreation of Brevard County, Florida. She is survived by a daughter, Holli H. Morris and her husband, Michael, of Tampa; two sons, Thomas L. Henderson, Jr. and Clay Henderson and his wife, Vickie, all of Titusville, FL; one sister, Connie B. Winstead, of Ormond Beach, FL; and six grandchildren, Jake and Mark Henderson, Laura Jane Jester, Maggie Emery, and Jack Morris. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home.
