Barbara J. 'Bobbie' Hensley, 76, of Asheville, passed away September 15, 2010. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Cora Parris Arrington. Bobbie had a vegetable booth at the Asheville Farmers Market for 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Brewster 'Bruce' Hensley and brothers, Clifford Arrington, Jr. and Jack Arrington.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and James Donald Hensley of the home; brother, John Arrington of Howell, MI; sisters, Loreen 'Susie' Paiva Erin of Gloucester, VA and Mary Jo Smith, and husband, Fred, of Asheville; sister-in-law, Wanda Arrington of Myrtle Beach, SC and special friend, Martha Smith.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 18th at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
