"Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother""

Candler - Barbara Sue Pressley Wise, age 79, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville.

Barbara was the daughter of the late Marvin and Virginia Kinsland Pressley. Barbara was a retired cosmetologist and was of Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank Wise; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Wise (Bruce Russell), of New Orleans, Louisiana; three sons, Ralph Holland of Leicester, Randy Wise of Candler and Jason Wise of Leicester; a sister, Sarah Farmer of Canton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Eric Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
