"Missed but Never Forgotten"

Clyde, Bartley Jackson Sellers, Jr., 44, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence.

Bartley, known to many as BJ, was a native of West Palm Beach, Florida and had resided in Haywood County for the majority of his life. BJ is the son of the late Bartley Jackson Sellers, Sr. and Gloria Marcie Sellers. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister Tina Sellers. BJ was an installer for ACE Hardwood Flooring of Asheville for over 20 years. Growing up in Murphy, BJ was a member of the Murphy Bulldogs championship football team. His love for the game of football carried over to his favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs. BJ never missed an opportunity to cheer on his "Dawgs".

Along with his mother, BJ is survived by his three beautiful children, daughter, Sara Sellers and two sons, Sean Sellers and Caleb Demery; brother, Tim Sellers and a sister-in-law, Marsha; sister, Cathy Sellers; four nephews, Jasper and Brian Sellers, Steven and Brian Gaddis; and a niece, Tosha Sellers, all of Clyde.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville, with Reverend Tim Cagle officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
