Beatrice Ely

Waynesville, Beatrice Elizabeth Ely age 94, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Brian Center. She was a native of Lansdowne, NJ, and had resided in Haywood County for more then 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Mae Tiger Hunt and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ely and a brother Harry Hunt. Mrs. Ely was a homemaker. She is survived by her guardian, Maxine Osborne. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at Garrett- Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Ted Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the East Waynesville Baptist Church, 175 Woodland Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786.
