Beatrice Mcfalls

Beatrice Warren McFalls, age 78, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her family. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Garland L. Sr. and Pearl Reece Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Louie McFalls, who died in 1997; three sisters, Donnie Inman, Tulan Rogers, and Genevieve Vance; and one brother, Claude Warren. Beatrice was the owner/operator of the Center Pigeon Dairy Bar for many years and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Her main hobby, love and interest were her family. Beatrice was a selfless individual who always put friends and family first. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and soon to be a great-great-grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Oates and Janice Camp and her husband, Mike, all of Lake Logan; three sisters, Bonnie Vance Whitaker of Canton, Rose Ann Stinnett and her husband, Charles, of Dothan, AL, and Peggy Sue Boykin and her husband, Bill, of Aiken, SC; four brothers, Garland L. Warren, Jr. and his wife, Winifred, Grady H. Warren and his wife, Mildred, Mack Warren and his wife, Alees, all of Canton, and Ray Warren and his wife, Sarah, of Clyde; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Pallbearers will be Eddie Burris, Theron Oates, Heath Burris, Scott Oates, Josh Camp, John Oates, and Jesse Burris.
