Beatrice Wilson

Beatrice Haney Wilson, age 90, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Weaver and Elizabeth Mathews Haney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Worley Wilson, who died in 1991; a son, Earl Martin Wilson; two sisters, and five brothers. Beatrice was a member of Rockwood United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Hall of Canton; two sisters, Adeline Boyd and Edith Harris; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Phillips Wilson, six grandchildren, Keith Wilson, Ricky Wilson, Janet Trantham, Martin Hall, Darrin Hall, and Joy Hall Rich; 11 great-grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, Taylor Trantham, Lyndsay Trantham, Sean Hall, Drew Hall, Lucas Hall, Brittany Hall, Kaleigh Hall, Ashleigh Hall, Dakota Rich, and Bianka Rich; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Timothey Rich, Chloe Rich, Mylee Rich, Jayce Rich, Chanan Mease, Parker Trantham, and Natalie Singleton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve W. Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
