Becky Climbingbear

Waynesville, Rebecca Christopher �Becky� Climbingbear, age 51, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Brian Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Alice Moore Christopher Overman of Canton and the late James Howard Christopher. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Frank Christopher. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Alice Marie Scott and her friend, John Climbingbear, of Waynesville; two sisters, Judy Mills and her husband, Charles and Mary Sue Christopher Messer and her friend, Clifford Ewart, all of Waynesville; four brothers, William Conard, Jimmy Lee Christopher, and Samuel Howard Christopher, all of Waynesville, and Richard Conard and his wife, Peggy, of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Shaver and Reverend Harry Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Friday prior to services.
