Benita Kittleson

Waynesville-Benita R. Kittleson, age 83, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Smoky Mountain Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Norris City, Illinois and lived in Waynesville for the past six years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Maude Healy; her husband, Carlos, who died in 1996; a sister, Winifred Baldridge and a son, Brian Kittleson. She graduated from Shurtleff College in Alton, Illinois. She taught school for many years in the elementary education field. She was a member of Longs Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Kittleson, of Waynesville, a sister, Lois Campbell and a nephew, Ben Campbell of Knoxville, Tennessee and a niece, Carol Cutsinger of Aiken, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Fuquay officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Lee, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
