Bernadette Clancy

Waynesville, Mrs. Bernadette Clancy made her transition on March 3, 2008 at Harris Regional Medical Center at the age of 90. Mrs. Clancy lived most of her life in Saratoga County in upstate, New York. She was moved by family to NC in May of 2007 to be close to family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William James Clancy and sons, Mark Patrick Clancy and Daniel Michael Clancy. She is survived by a daughter, Bernice Clancy Thompson and her spouse, Robert Ellis Thompson of Maggie Valley; one son, William James Clancy, III and his spouse, Rose, of Franklin; and grandchildren, Mark Sullivan, B.J. Clancy, Robin Powers, Cindy Folmsbee and Heather Thompson; and great grandchildren, Summer Sullivan, Michael Folmsbee, Lauren Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan, and Daniel Clancy. A memorial service will be held at the Center for Creative Living in Asheville, NC with Reverends John and Barbara Waterhouse officiating at a time and date to be announced. Our thanks to Dr. Daniel Fox, Dr. Robert Adams, the Brian Center, and all family and friends who lovingly cared for Bernadette Clancy.
