Bertha Buchanan

April 15, 1909 — August 27, 2003

Canton-Bertha Ella Ginter Buchanan, age 94 died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A prior resident of Hendersonville, Mrs. Buchanan was married to her 1st husband Allan G. McCumber who died in 1983 and her 2nd husband Leland Buchanan who died in 1990.

She is survived by one daughter, June McCumber of Pochantas, Ark, two sons, Reverend Robert A. McCumber of Centennial, CO, Dr. Myron L. McCumber of Palmer, Alaska, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the Spears Common Chapel at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. Her son, Reverend Robert A. McCumber will officiate.

Wells Funeral Home of Canton in is charge of arrangements.
