Bethney Capps

Bethney Trull Capps, age 85, of 36 Lollis Road, died Monday, October 16, 2006. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Blaine and Texie Kuykendall Trull. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur Capps; two brothers, Thomas Trull and James Oder Trull; a sister, Catherine Bailey; and her stepmother, Claudia Trull. She was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church, a homemaker, and she loved quilting and gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Gayle Tanner and her husband, Dewayne of Lonoke, AR; two sisters, Martha Jean Johnson and Rachel Plemmons both of Candler; two step sisters, Genevieve Trull and Nora Bell McCoy both of Canton; two brothers Harley Trull and his wife, Beulah of Morganton, NC and Paul Trull and his wife, Lottie of Asheville; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Sprinkle and the Reverend Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Wings of Hope, 18590 Edison Avenue, Chesterfield, MO 63005 or flowers are acceptable.
