Betty Hensley

Betty Jane Hensley, 77, of Asheville passed away on July 17, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital following a brief illness. She was a daughter of the late Alton and Arie Crowe Payne. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Margie, Ruth, Francis and Jean and one brother Carl.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years Ralph 'Jack' Hensley of the home, James D. Hensley of the home, Gary Hensley and wife Doris of Marshall, Anita Lamm and husband Mickey of Clayton, two grandchildren, Sarah Sands and husband Philip of England and Rachael A. Yefko of the home, great-grandson, Blaine S. Yefko and special sister-in-law Maxine Sutphin of Asheville.

Graveside services will be held 11AM on Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
