Betty Justice

Fines Creek, Betty Ann Jenkins Justice, age 77, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

A native of Haywood County, Betty was the daughter of the late, John and Anna Dee Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ray Justice, Jr. in 2009; a daughter, Diane Chambers; four sisters; and six brothers. Betty was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking and keeping an immaculate home.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Ann Ahles, Vickie Bryson and Belinda Messer and her husband, Danny, Panther Creek; two step-daughters, Denise Henson, Lancaster, SC, and Stephanie Chapman, Piedmont, SC; three sons, Kelvin Justice and wife, Kim, Jeremy Justice, and Stevie Ledford and his wife Shirley, all of Fines Creek; three step-sons, Darrin Justice and wife, Jackie, Fines Creek, Charles Justice, Piedmont, SC, and Steven Justice and wife, Lisa, Staunton, VA; a sister, Geraldine Phillips, TN; a brother, John Jenkins, Cove Creek; 19 grandchildren and many beloved great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Putnam and Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 1128 Max Patch, Clyde, NC, 28721.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to Haywood Healthcare Foundation, c/o The Homestead, 127 Sunset Ridge Road, Clyde, NC 28721. Please include "Hospice" in the memo line of check.
