Betty Mcmahan

Waynesville, Betty Fleming McMahan, age 65, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013. A native of Jefferson, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Beulah Norwood Fleming and was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Willett, and two brothers, John and Bob Fleming. Betty enjoyed doing crafts, especially ceramics. She loved spending time with her family and going to yard sales. She is survived by a daughter, Sue Ann McMahan of the White Oak Community; two sons, Steven and Danny, both of the Fines Creek Community; six sisters, Jean Mustaro, Lois Waldrop, Peggy Baldwin, Martha Ferguson, Marie Myers, and Kathy Duckett; two brothers, Fred and Ricky Fleming; eight grandchildren, Misty Justice, Ben and Travis Green, Chelsea, Hunter, and Carlee McMahan, and Emily and Daniel McMahan; and five great-grandchildren, Bailey, Olivia, Jaylen, Isaiah, and Christina. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Gap of the Mountain Cemetery in Spring Creek with Reverend Jimmy Trantham officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
