Betty Miller

Waynesville-Betty Jean Miller, age 75, of Mauney Cove Road, died on Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Macon County, she had lived most of her life in Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late James G. and Annie Blanche Cope Garner. She was preceded in death by her husband, D. D. Miller; a son, Timothy Moore; two brothers, James Garner Jr. and Jack Garner. She was a member of Barberville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Moore and his wife, Susan, of Sevierville, TN and Michael Moore and his wife, Sharon, of Waynesville; a sister, Margaret Hill, of Danridge, TN; two grandchildren, Heather Knowles and Jason Moore; and one great granddaughter, Stephanie Knowles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend G. W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
