Betty June Moore

Betty June Burgess Moore, 90, of Candler, North Carolina passed away the morning of October 26th, 2024. She was born June 4th, 1934, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Edward and Alberta (LaRue) Burgess. Also, June is proceeded in death by her spouse, Donald William Moore; child Baby Moore; brother and sisters, Alberta Bailey, Helen Kenney, and James Burgess.

June married Donald William Moore, on June 16th, 1953, in Bingo Junction, Ohio. She loved spending time with her family, watching the Braves Play Baseball and going to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino at least once a month.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Maddern, children, Donald Paul Moore, Laura May Brach, Sandra June Moore, and Richard William Moore. A niece, Dorthy Areno, who she felt was her own daughter. Grandchildren, Shannon Wyatt, Candice Moore, Joshua Moore, Stephanie Burke, Chad Ensley, Chris Ensley, Jennifer Hawkins and Staci Pressley; great-Grandchildren; Tyler Wyatt, Kirstin Mahala, Wendy Moore, Nathan Brown, Lucas Wyatt, Jacob Moore, Kayli Pressley, Natalie Alvarez, Brandon Alvarez, Jaxon Hawkins, Alannah Ray, Ella Ensley, Abigail Pressley, Emeline Hawkins, Aiven Hawkins and Olivia Ensley; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Brody and Parker Wyatt. Numerous nieces and nephews.
