Betty Reddin

Chesapeake, VA formerly of Canton – Betty Jo Burnette Reddin, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Betty Jo was the daughter of the late Jodie C Burnette and Oberia Burnette.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Stamey, of Canton, Georgia.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Crooke and Debbie Williams; a stepson, Moses Reddin, Jr.; and five grandchildren, Jason, Nikki, Brandon, Rebecca and Markus.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Morning Star Community Cemetery.  A short viewing will be held prior to the service at the funeral home..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Foundation, 1236 Ginger Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA  23453 or pay it forward to someone in need.
