Betty Teaster

Betty Sue Teaster, age 69, of Redford Township, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital. She was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Paul Edward and Mary Anne Robinson Sorrells. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Doyle Teaster, who died in 1994. She is survived by two sons, Dean Teaster and his wife, Tammy, of Royal Oak, MI, and Bobby Teaster and his wife, Patty, of Clyde; one daughter, Marcia Kish of Redford, MI; one sister, Shelby Holder and her husband, Bruce, of Clyde; two brothers, Jim Sorrells and his wife, Susan, of Canton, and Howard Sorrells and his wife, Penny, of Clyde; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jim and Howard Sorrells, Brian and Jason Teaster, and Anthony and Nicholas Kish.
