Betty Ward

Betty Ann Ward, 53, of Hendersonville, NC died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 due to a long term illness. She was a daughter of the late Albert Adkin and Thelma Louise Nix Ward.

She was a 1975 graduate of West Henderson High School and a 1991 graduate of UNCA with a B. S. in Science and Management. She was a private duty nurse for many years.

Survivors include her twin sister; Bennie May Ward of Hendersonville, NC, two uncles; Russell and Sue Nix of Hendersonville, NC and Otis and Ann Jones of Tucker, GA. Close cousins include; Brenda and Douglas Tate, John, Jennifer, Colton and Robbie Tate, Constance Nicole Tate, Renae, Tim and Cody Nix, Rusty and Dawna and Delaney Jones, Joey and Rachel Pruitt, Stephanie, Brian and Brandon Pruitt, Bob and Sue Ward, Don and Lynn Ward, and many other friends and distant relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Boyleston Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
