Betty Woody

Betty Jo Mason Woody, 83, of Asheville, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Keever Solace Center. She was a daughter of the late Herbert and Glada Henson Mason. She worked at American Enka for 20 years and co-owned Style Rite Hair Fashions were she was also a stylist. Betty was a member of Starnes Cove Baptist Church. Betty was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed always and forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Swann Burder Woody and sister, Janice Mason Crawford.
She is survived by her sons, Rickie Joe Mason and Dr. Paul Thomas Clements; sister, Pat Jamison Thompson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 4th in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith with Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
