Beulah Mae Davis, a dedicated individual who touched the lives of many through her work in the Headstart Program at Mountain Projects for over 30 years, peacefully passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on March 14, 1936, in Haywood County.
Beulah graduated from Waynesville Township High School in 1954. Beulah's legacy extends beyond her professional accomplishments and into the hearts of those she cared for and guided throughout the years as well as those who cared for her. This includes not only her circle of family and friends, but also the caring professionals at Davita of Waynesville.
Beulah Mae Davis is survived by her loving family: one daughter, Debbie Wood; two sons, Mike Davis and Brian Davis; two sisters, Rachel Long and Shirley Owens; two granddaughters, Amber Davis and Chelsea Brendle; and one great-grandson, Mason Allison. She is preceded in death by her father, James Owens; mother, Pearl Owens; husband, Robert Hugh Davis; son, Gary Davis; grandson, Cameron Brendle; and sister, Helen Waldron.
In honor of Beulah's life, the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Beulah's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her legacy lives on through those she loved and influenced.
